Pet Canvas Art Exhibit: "Every Cat Has its Own Character"

On February 17th 2024, World Cat Day, the Eyüpsultan Municipality Göktürk Culture and Art Center, in collaboration with Göktürk Paw Clinic and Pet Canvas Art, unveiled a truly special exhibition in the foyer of the Göktürk Culture and Art Center. Curated by Elif İncekara, this exhibition shines a unique and distinctive light on the diversity and character of each cat, each telling its own story.

Breaking new ground in Turkey with the concept that “Every Cat Has Its Own Character,” the exhibition features portraits of the beloved felines of notable Göktürk residents including Eyüpsultan Mayor Deniz Köken’s cat Sultan, along with those of Ayşe Arman, Nükhet Duru, Sertap Erener, Doğa Rutkay, and Işıl Alben. The portraits, created by Pet Canvas Art, founded by Denizhan Haznedar, showcase our furry friends in various adorable guises, from gladiators and warriors to sultan and much more!

Embarking with the motto “The Most Paw-some Gift,” Pet Canvas merges traditional art with digital techniques to create unique pet portraits depicting pets in royal costumes, noble lady and aristocrat attire, and even as popular film and series characters. These designs, specially tailored for every breed, species, and type of animal, have garnered significant interest from pet owners, showcasing our little friends in their most noble and amusing forms.

These unique creations not only highlight the physical beauty of our beloved pets but also showcase their rich characters and unique personalities, promising to draw significant attention from animal lovers.
